It’s not every day you get the best seat in the house at a Melbourne Cafe. Usually the cafe scene is buzzing from open to close so you’d be lucky not to find yourself on a 2 hour waitlist for a table! Saint James cafe in Malvern is a cute little street side cafe with sunny window front seating, street seating and a private courtyard. No matter the time of day, you’re bound to find a great spot to sit and have a coffee (or in my case, some scrambles!)
Saint James Cafe, 1376 Malvern Road
This quaint little English inspired cafe has everything from baked goodies, to coffee, to smashed avo! Don’t worry, its a very Instagrammable menu!
Being a true Melbournian, I’m born into the cycle of coffee snobbery. Nothing sends me from zero to raging hulk like a bad coffee! Fortunately, you won’t find this problem at Saint James Cafe. True coffee connoisseurs, these guys know how to deliver a perfect long black, or if coffee isn’t your jam – they can brew a great tea too!
So, next time you’re in the Toorak/Armadale/Malvern area, be sure to grab yourself a street front spot at Saint James Cafe
